Garrett Kelleher has been the Chairman of St. Patrick’s Athletic Football Club since 2007. This is one of the premier association football (soccer) clubs in the Republic of Ireland. It was first founded in 1929 and has been playing continually since that time. St. Patrick’s Athletic Football Club plays in the League of Ireland, the top division of professional soccer in the Republic of Ireland. The club is based out of Inchicore, Dublin, but has fans all over the globe.

In those European competitions, St. Patrick’s Athletic FC has been more successful in recent years than almost any other club from the Republic of Ireland. St. Patrick’s Athletic FC now routinely challenges for league championships, cup trophies, and develops some of the league’s most exciting young players.
